TMT Law Practice was established as a boutique Technology, Media and Telecommunications Law firm. Over time, the firm grew and its practice combined intellectual property rights, regulatory advisory, corporate commercial advisory, corporate transactional work, civil disputes, and legislative work across industry sectors. The firm focussed on traditional practice areas, but also stepped into the arena of contributing to the development of ‘niche’, up-and-coming areas such as healthcare, space laws, and sports law.

Abhishek Malhotra, the Managing Partner of the firm, graduated from National Law School India University. He went onto earn an LLM degree from the Franklin Pierce School of Law, and was admitted to the Bar in the State of California. Since then, he has gathered close to 17 years of experience in India, practicing as an Advocate, with strong expertise in Intellectual Property laws, Media & Entertainment matters, as well as competition law disputes. He was asked by the Government to weigh in on the proposed amendments to the Copyright Act, and regularly acts as counsel to industry bodies on varied issues.

DPSA Legal was a well-established full-service law firm with a strong focus on litigation, including commercial, white collar & criminal litigation; real estate, government policy & regulatory advisory as well as corporate advisory. The firm focused on complex matters, and offered strategic services to direct, advice and guide their clients to the best available legal recourse.

D.P. Singh, the Founder and Managing Partner of the erstwhile firm, has 27 years of varied experience representing the Government, the public sector as well as private entities. He is now the Founder & Senior Partner of the firm Arthe Law. He was the youngest person to be appointed the Additional Advocate General for the States of Punjab and Haryana, and has been felicitated by the State of California for outstanding service to the area of Cyber Laws. Having appeared in over 7,000 litigations, he has represented and advised various Public Sector Undertakings, autonomous institutions and Government Corporations, departments and authorities. Over the course of a distinguished career, he had a hand in drafting a number of important bills submitted to the government, and appeared in numerous landmark cases which still shape our judicial system.
