  • Advised the national federation of companies in the renewable       energy sector on Open Access issues.
  • Advised promoters of various businesses on the process of setting       up companies in this sector, the regulatory landscape and       approvals required.
  • Represented leading players in the industry in various fora such as       State Electricity Regulatory Commissions and Appellate Tribunal for       Electricity.
  • Advised and represented a leading business conglomerate involved       in the manufacture of graphic electrodes, textiles, amongst others,       in levy of parallel operation charges before the State Electricity       Regulatory Commissions, the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity as       well as the Supreme Court of India. The precedents arising out of       these matters are considered landmark regulatory precedents in       the power sector.
  • Advised and represented private parties / individual occupants       against the issue of cluster operator(s) of electricity and illegal sub       distribution of electricity by the distribution licensees in the State of       West Bengal.
  • Advised and rendered legal opinions on regulatory issues arising       out of compliance of orders / directions / notifications of various       regulatory authorities constituted and currently in operation under       the Electricity Act, 2003.
